Old Hickory Beach Recreation Area offers visitors a variety facilities and outdoor recreation opportunities, including: exceptional bank and boat fishing, recreational boating, reservable group picnic shelter, playground, swimming beach, nature trail, and boat launch. With numerous species of wildlife residing in and around Old Hickory Lake, visitors can view abundant populations of migratory songbirds, white-tailed deer, wild turkey, squirrels, rabbits, snakes, waterfowl and wading birds, making nature study and photography additional exciting pastimes.
