Description

This campground is located 13 miles from McKenzie Bridge, OR on Hwy 126 in old growth Douglas Fir along the McKenzie River. This campground is not Olallie Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest.

Water is available at this campground. Reservations must be made at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Bring confirmation letter to the campground. Do not leave home without it. This campground has 15 reservable sites and 1 first come first serve site. Hoodoo does not reserve non-reservable sites that are for upon arrival. Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.
  • A fee of $7 for extra vehicles (2nd vehicle for single sites, 3rd and 4th vehicles for double sites) will be collected at the campground.
  • Fee includes site and one vehicle.
  • Hoodoo does not reserve the first come first serve site(s).
  • Pets are allowed but need to be restrainted.
  • Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • No discharge of FIREARMS or FIREWORKS.
  • NO CHAINSAWS.
  • Water is available at this campground.
  • This campground is located on Oregon Hwy 126 in the mid-Cascades Mountains.
  • Extra vehicles must fit within the campsite's designated parking areas. Maximum # of vehicles are site dependant.
  • Parking spurs may not be perfectly level.
  • Golden Age/Golden Access - Senior Pass/Senior Access cards receive 1/2 price for camping site.

From Eugene: take I-105 east to McKenzie Highway 126 for 55 miles to McKenzie Bridge. Travel 13 miles beyond McKenzie Bridge on 126 east. Olallie is on the left-hand side of the road.

From Portland: take I-5 south to Salem. Take Exit 253 East - Hwy 22/Stayton/Detriot Lake - turn left (east) at light. Travel approx. 78 miles to Hwy 20/126/22 junction. Turn right at sign for Springfield/Eugene for Hwy 126/20 south. Travel 3 miles to Hwy 20/126 split. Turn left onto Hwy 126. Travel approx. 12 miles to campground entrance - right turn.

From Albany/Lebanon: travel Hwy 20 to unction with Hwy 126. Take a left onto Hwy 126. Travel approx. 12 miles to campground entrance - right turn.
