FIREWOOD ALERT!: Leave Your Firewood At Home! We need your help to protect our forests! A firewood quarantine has been established for much of the state of Virginia. In general, firewood can harbor insect pests under the bark and in the wood. The transport of infested firewood has been identified as a leading cause in the introduction of harmful forest insects into un-infested forest areas. The best way to prevent a new infestation of these invasive pests is to get your firewood AFTER arrival. Help us keep our parks pest free by leaving your firewood at home!

OCONEE POINT (SC), SC

Description

Oconee Point is located at the northern end of the lake on the Seneca River and close to Clemson, SC. The campground offers 70 campsites, All sites are waterfront. All of the sites offer 50 amp electrical hookups and water. The following amenities are also available: dump station, play grounds, swim beach.

Alerts and Important Information

The campground gate opens at 7am and closes at 10pm. There is a limit of 1 wheeled camper per site (Tents - limited to impact pad capacity).
*Same day reservations are allowed*
Sites 4,5 and 7 will only accomodate tents and pop up units 25' and smaller.
  • No Alcohol.
  • Golf Carts, ATV's, and motorized scooters are prohibited.
  • Campers must occupy the site each night if it is rented.
  • All pets must be penned, caged, or on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

From Interstate 85 in SC, exit #11 on SC Hwy 24 towards Townville, SC. 1 1/2 miles past Townville, turn right onto Coneross Creek Rd. Proceed 2.5 miles turning south onto South Friendship Rd then 3 miles to park entrance.
