MONO CREEK (CA), CA

Description

Mono Creek is located in the High Sierras, above Kaiser Pass. This is a quiet remote campground. Its in a peaceful location in a meadow. It is close to Mono Hot Springs. It is open approximately from 06/5 thru 09/16. There is hiking, fishing, and Interpretive programs. Vehicles over 26 feet are not recommended in the Kaiser basin.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
  • 3 night minimum on holidays
  • Check in at campground entrance
  • No useage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in campground.
  • No water source available.
  • $5/night fee for more than one vehicle.
  • All equipment must fit on the site pad.
  • 1 lane road for approximately 15 miles.
  • Large vehicles not recommended.
  • Quiet hours 10pm to 6am.
  • Pets must be leashed at all times.

    From Clovis, California, take Highway 168 north 70 miles to Huntington Lake Campground office at Eastwood. Take Kaiser Pass Road to the Mono Creek Campground.
