Description

Approximately 1 hour drive from greater Los Angeles area. Elevation makes campground temperatures 15-20 degrees cooler than the Los Angeles Basin. Views of valley from roadway leading to the campground. Night sky viewing is excellent from this campground. ELEVATION: 7200ft

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. At this time, potable water is not available at this campground. Bring drinking water with you.

Take the I-5 north to the Frazier Park exit. Go west on Frazier Mountain Park Rd for 17.2 miles by-passing Frazier Park and Lake of the Woods. Continue forward going up Mt. Pinos. The McGill campground entrance is on the right side of the road.
