MARSHALL PARK (CO), CO

Description

Marshall Park Campground is located about seven miles southwest of Creed at an elevation of 8800 feet. The campground is situated in an open meadow on the Rio Grande River with views of Bristol Head Peak and the La Garita Mountains.

Campers come here to fish for trout in the river, boat, and enjoy the areas diverse wildlife. It also makes for a great base camp four hunters in the area.

Reservations can be made mid-May through Labor Day weekend. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance for single family sites but they must be made at least four days prior to your intended arrival date.

  • There are first-come, first-serve sites at this campground
  • There is a 2 night minimum stay on weekends, 3 nights on holiday weekends
  • A per day, per vehicle fee will be collected at the campground for extra vehicles, beginning with the 2nd vehicle.
