Description

Located in Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains, Plumas County, California, on Antelope Reservoir. Elevation 5000 feet. Activities that can be enjoyed include fishing, swimming, water skiing, and mountain biking. Facilities include piped in water, vault toilets. All sites have paved spur, fire pit and picnic table. Boat ramp available. Convenience service store within walking distance. Nearest gas and phone are 25 miles away. Ten interpretive programs scheduled at the Amphitheater including Kids' Fishing Derby and Smokey Bear's birthday.

All trailered boat launching from other sites is prohibited by forest order. Hand launch access and other water surface uses are permitted.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Two vehicles are allowed per site; extra vehicles can be parked in overflow parking at no charge. The site reserved must be the site occupied. The campground has vault toilets and potable water. There are no showers.

From Oroville, take Highway 70 East, 72 miles to Highway 89. Turn left and go 8 miles. Trun right on Road A22 (Arlington). Go 7 miles, through Taylorsville to 'T' at rodeo grounds. Turn right and go 20 miles to Antelope Lake. Follow signs to campground.

From Reno, take Highway 395 North to Janesville. Turn West on Road 208 for 4 miles. Trun right on Road 28N01 and go 9 miles. Turn right and follow signs.
