LOGGER CAMPGROUND (CA), CA

Description

Logger Campground sits on beautiful Stampede Reservoir with 226,500 cubic acre water capacity. The campground is surrounded by fir and pine trees with sage brush for ground cover. Some of the main recreational activities include fishing, hunting, boating and water skiing. Many miles of ATV/OHV and hiking trails also surround the area. All roads inside the campground are paved as well as the parking spurs for the 252 sites. Each family single, double and triple sites offer picnic tables, fire rings and B.B.Q. stands. Vault toilets and water located through out the campground.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made 3 days in advance.
  • 3 night minimum for holiday weekends.
  • Additional $2.00 per night for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends.
  • Camping Fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle. A fee for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.
  • Pets must be leashed at all times.
  • Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am.
  • Vehicles park in parking spurs only.
  • All equipment must fit on pad.
  • Fire restrictions may apply during summer months.
  • No ATV/OHV use in the campground - exception: street legal and 5mph in/out of campground only

    From Truckee, California, take Highway 80 east 10 miles to the Hirschdale Road exit. Follow Hirschdale Road 8 miles north to the Stampede Reservoir. Check in at entrance station.
