LITTLE MILL (UT), UT

Description

Located in American Fork Canyon on the banks of the American Fork River, this popular campground offers hiking, fishing, and a chance to escape the hot summer days. The canyonâs Alpine Loop, a National Scenic Byway, offers stunning views of the canyon and valley, as well as wildlife and abundant wildflowers.

Nearby Tibble Fork Reservoir offers rainbow and brown trout fishing, and Silver Flat Reservoir has rainbow and brook trout fishing. The nearby hiking trails include Tibble Fork Trail, Pine Hollow Trail and many others. Timpanogos Cave National Monument is just a few miles down American Fork Canyon, with a rewarding but steep 1.5-mile hike to a guided tour of the spectacular three-room cave system, and stunning views of American Fork Canyon.

  • There is no water on site, please bring all the water you will need for your stay.
  • This campground has first-come, first-serve sites
  • Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance
  • A per-vehicle, per-day fee will be collected on site for extra vehicles
  • Gates close at 10pm
  • No ATV's, ORV's or horses allowed in the campground

    Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. Passes are available at entrance stations located on either side of the Alpine Scenic Loop (prices are per vehicle).
