Description

Lillydale Campground and Day Use Area is located on Dale Hollow Lake 20 miles from Livingston, Tennessee. Dale Hollow Lake is known for its breathtaking forested hillsides and pristine, crystal clear waters. Lillydale is known for its outstanding beauty and having the most waterfront camping sites on the lake. Centrally located on Dale Hollow near the Tennessee-Kentucky State boarder, Lillydale was awarded in 2005 with the National NRRS Top Ten Most Scenic Campgrounds to visit.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    Public use at all Corps of Engineers projects is goverened by Title 36 Regulations. You are responsible for adhering to these rules and regulations. More detailed information can be found at http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil/op/DAL/rec/title36.htm.

    WE ARE A FAMILY PARK:Appropriate conduct is required at all times. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Loud, rowdy or other inappropriate behavior will result in your removal from the campground without benefit or refund.

    SITE LIMITS: Each site is limited to six (6) people & two (2) vehicles. A standard campsite may have one wheeled camping unit plus one tent; or two tents. RV sites limited to one wheeled unit only; tent sites limited to 2 tents only. All vehicles and camping equipment must fit on the designated site pad. All vehicles and boat trailers park in developed areas only.

    HOOK UPS: Water and electric hookups are available at a limited number of camping sites. Verify the site type information for site specific amenities.

    QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are in effect from 10 PM to 6 AM and the entrance gates locked.

    VISITORS TO CAMPERS: A visitor fee of $3 per vehicle will apply. Visitors must park at the campsite if space available or provided parking lots.

    CHECK IN/OUT: Check in is 3:00 pm - Check out is 2:00 pm Central Standard Time. Please depart your site promptly to provide for incoming campers.

    SANITATION: Properly dispose of your trash in the provided dumpster and leave the area cleaner than you found it. No gray water should be released on site; a dump station is centrally located. Aluminum can recycling bins are available.

    FIRES: Fires are allowed in provided fire rings only.

    FIREWOOD QUARANTINE: Firewood from the states of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio and the lower peninsula of Michigan is quarantined due to an insect infestation. To protect our forests do not bring firewood from these states.

    PETS: Domestic pets (dogs/cats) are permitted. All pets must be on a leash 6 foot in length or less, controlled, and attended at all times. NO pets in the bathhouse or in the sand portion of beach areas. You are responsible for proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by your pet. If you depart the campground or go out on the lake take your pet with you; DO NOT leave your pet unattended. No person shall allow animals to bark or emit other noise which unreasonably disturbs others.

    PROHIBITED: Alcoholic beverages, firearms, fireworks, or weapons of any kind.

    EMERGENCIES: Report any emergencies, issues or complaints to the park attendant. When the attendant is unavailable, or in extreme emergencies, contact the Sheriff's Department. The phone number is posted on all campground bulletin boards.

    PLAN YOUR ARRIVAL: Gates are locked from 10pm until 6am. Plan your arrival accordingly. Campers who arrive after 10pm must park outside the gates and register in the morning. Register at the campground office prior to occupying your site.

    DISCOUNTS: Holders of the Interagency Senior or Access Pass will receive a 50 % discount on camping fees. Users of these cards should expect to display the discount card and show photo ID. Discounts apply only to the bearer and for one site. If a card holder has more than one site reserved under the discount rate, the additional fees will be collected upon arrival.

    From Hwy 52, travel 10 mi NE on Willow Grove Rd., then 8 mi on Hwy 294.

    Take Hwy 111 (approx. 13.5 miles south of Byrdstown, TN and approx, 3.5 Follow signs into campground. miles North of Livingston, TN) to 294 North--Willow Grove Road. Proceed on Willow Grove Road for 13.3 miles. Turn Right onto Lillydale Road and proceed one mile to the recreation area entrance.

    It is recommended that you DO NOT use MAPQUEST for directions.

      The events listed here are not intended to be an all inclusive list. Please contact the park for further details.

    • Lakeshore Cleanup: Held the last Saturday in September. Show your appreciation for your public lands. Join others in helping clean up the shorelines of Dale Hollow Lake. Registration begins at 8am. Trash bags provided. A free cookout with door prizes will be held at 2pm for all cleanup participants.
