Reservations are available May 15 2010 thru September 13 2010.

Lakeshore East Campground is located in the community of Lakehead with easy freeway access, by taking Lakeshore Avenue to the west. The campground is well forested and sits on the edge of the Sacramento Arm of Shasta Lake. The nearest boat launch is at Antler's Boat Ramp about 2 miles away. There is an additional $8.00 fee use of the boat launch. Resorts near by have watercraft rentals and marinas with fuel. The nearest store is 1 mile north. There is abundant wildlife in the area.

OCCUPY SITE WITHIN 24 HOURS OR FORFEIT HOLDER OF GOLDEN PASS MUST BE PRESENT MUST BRING VOUCHER TO CAMPGROUND USDA FOREST SERVICE REGULATIONS APPLY Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
Respect wildlife. Store food properly. Poison oak is abundant throughout the forest.
This campground have sites that can accommodate tents as well as trailers, there are no electrical hookups or dump stations for trailers.

All single sites can accomodate up to 8 people and can hold an unlimited number of tents.

All double sites can accomodate up to 16 people and can hold an unlimited number of tents.

From Redding, California, remain on I-5 north to the town of Lakehead (Approx. 20 minutes north of Redding). Take the Antlers Road/Lakeshore Drive exit. Go west under I-5 overpass, then left on Lakeshore drive approximately 2 1/2 miles to entrance.
