Winter Camping Information: A and B areas will be open for winter camping from October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Fees in the month of October will be $20.00/night with water and electric hookups available. Fees November through March 2010 will be $12.00/night with individual electric and one frost free hydrant to fill fresh water tanks. Please use honor vault, located at entrance to B area, for all camping payments. Senior and Access Pass holders will receive a 50% discount on nightly rates. Description

In Oklahoma's crosstimbers region, the Lakeside Campground on Lake Texoma provides a desirable atmosphere for those seeking fun and fellowship with good neighbors from far and near. Lake Texoma is a large reservoir with an excellent fishery and many access points. Boating, swimming, skiing, hunting, are the typical pursuits of most visitors. The lake features two wildlife refuges, two State Parks, and 23 commercial concession areas dedicated to enjoyment. The Lakeside Campground is one of the more heavily used areas on Lake Texoma. Featuring 127 sites, most within 150' of the shoreline, two shower/toilet facilities, two boat ramps, one courtesy dock, a reservable shelter, and plenty of open water for skiing and boating. Convenience stores and a marina are available within a few miles of the campground.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
No day use allowed in camping area. The group shelter reservation rate is $50/day.
The entrance gates are open from 6am-10pm. Campers may exit at any time.
