Description

Lakeside Recreation Area is located on Hords Creek Lake. The lake is situated in the northern portion of the Texas hill country, 8 miles west of Coleman, Texas. Gently rolling hills covered with huge live oak trees makes Hords Creek Lake an ideal setting for any camper. The area is divided into 2 separate parks. Over 50 campsites with water and electric hookups are located in the park, including 16 sites with sewer hookups. Other facilities include boat ramps, fishing piers, restrooms with showers, swimming beaches, and much more.
