Description

Lake Isabel Recreation area, Lake Isabel, San Isabel Campground, Spruce Group Campground.
Environment: Mountains, next to stream, private and secluded, tree shaded, elevation 8400 feet.
Attributes: Small picnic shelter, full access facilities, distance from parking to site 100 feet, no dump station or RV hookups, firewood $5.00/bundle.
Activities: Fishing, hiking, volleyball, horseshoes.
Restrictions: Tents and RV's Restricted to Designated Areas. Only 40 persons may stay overnight. However an additional 10 persons may use for day use - these additional persons will be charged at the rate of $5/per car at the entrance kiosk.

  • A fee of $5 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.
  • Maximum overnight occupancy is 40 persons.
  • Maximum daytime occupancy is 50 persons. 1-50 persons $75.00
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
  • Maximum number of vehicles allowed - 20 passenger cars.
  • Bears in area, do not leave food unattended or in tents or pop-up tents.
  • Limited water available - no water hookups
  • Maximum 8 persons per site (except for group campgrounds)
  • Quiet Hours 10 pm to 8 am
  • Check in : 2 pm checkout is 12 pm
