KIRBY LANDING (AR), AR

Description

Kirby Landing Campground is located on Lake Greeson. The lake is approximately 12 miles long with 7,260 surface acres of water for fishing, skiing, boating and other water sports. Bald Eagles are an attraction for visitors each winter. In the campground is a short nature trail for naturalist and birders to enjoy. Special attraction is the 31 mile long Bear Creek Cycle Trail. The campground offers 87 campsites, with electric hookups. Other amenities include a dump station, hot showers, a boat ramp, a playground, and a swim beach.

Alerts and Important Information

  • The only sites available for reserving are FS1-20 which includes sites 14 - 27 and 29 - 34. You will not be assigned a specific site when you make a reservation, you will be assigned a specific site when you arrive at the campground.

    Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays.

    Kirby Landing is open year round. Camping fees are $13 - $16 per night from March 01 through October 31. Winter rate camping fees are charged November 01 through February 28 electrical sites are $10 per night. Restroom/Shower facilities will be open year round.     • There is no sewer site hook-ups at this campground.
    • Off-Road Recreational Vehicles (ORV) are prohibited in recreational unless loaded on a trailer or in a vehicle.
    • Loading and unloading of ORV(s) is allowed in designated areas only.

    From Texarkana, AR: East on I-30 for 46 miles to Prescott AR, north on Arkansas 19 for 3 miles to Murfreesboro, AR, north on Arkansas 27 for 15 miles to Kirby, AR. Go west on US 70 for 3 miles to Kirby Landing access road , south to Kirby Landing. From Hot Springs: West on US 70 to Kirby Landing Access Road, south on access road to the campground.
