KIOWA PARK I (OK), OK

Description

Located in Oklahoma's Great Plains Region, Kiowa Park I on Waurika Lake has much to offer to the outdoor recreation enthusiast. Waurika Lake encompasses 10,100 acres of water and about 12,000 acres of land, which provide ample space to enjoy the recreational activity of your choice. Kiowa Park I has 180 campsites with electric and water hook-ups. Other amenities include an accessible boat dock and restrooms, 2 boat ramps, dump station, hot showers, information center, playground, swimming beach, 2 group camping areas with pavilions, payphone, and fishing/boating areas.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.

This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends for group sites.

This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends for group sites.

Portions of the park are open during Mar, Apr, and Oct and all of the park is open 1 May-30 Sep. Sites range $14-$18/night. An attendant is on duty 10am to 12 midnight and the park telephone number is 580-963- 9031.

The park entrance gate is locked for security from 10pm until 8am, but has complete means of exit available to departing customers.

The fees for the following sites is increasing by $2.00 due to electrical service being upgraded from 30 amp to 50 amp: 149, 150, 167, 168, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 178, 179, and 180.
