As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. JORDAN PARK (AR), AR

Description

Jordan Campground located on Norfork Lake in north central Arkansas. Norfork Lake has great appeal to the sportsman, bird watcher, naturalist, or those who just want to "get away from it all." Hiking, all types of water sports and hunting in season are featured attractions.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations are taken for the day-use Group Shelter. All family sites are available on a first come-first served basis, but are not available for advanced reservations.

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum holiday weekend stay. The campground is open year round and fees are charged April through September.

  • Sites range from $9-$14 per night; A group shelter is also available for $40 per day.
  • The campground telephone number is (870)499-7223.
  • Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 3:00 pm.
  • Single site occupancy is limited to 2 units (1 wheeled unit and 1 ten or 2 tents) and 10 people.
  • No ATVs, firearms, or livestock allowed.
  • All pets must be caged or secured on a leash no more than 6' in length.
  • Attendants are on duty from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Please register for the campsite during booth hours 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

From Mountain Home, AR. take SR 5 south to Salesville, then turn left on SR 177 for 5 miles to Jordan Community. Turn north (left) onto CR 64 for 3 miles, road dead-ends at the park. Follow signs into campground.
