JEFFERSON SPRINGS (TN), TN

Description

Jefferson Springs Recreation Area is located on J. Percy Priest Lake approximately 12 miles from Nashville, TN, and offers a beautiful view of the water. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, and picnicking as well as many other activities. An abundance of wildlife can be seen here including white-tailed deer, and the occasional raccoon. One picnic shelter is reservable and additional amenities include restrooms and a boat launch.

Alerts and Important Information

Jefferson Springs has one picnic shelter available for reservations. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. The recreation area is open Apr 1-Oct 30 and the shelter reservation fee is $40/day for up to 50 people; $80/day for 51 to 100 people. No more than 100 people may use the shelter at Jefferson Springs. Prohibited items include alcohol, ATV's, ORV's, and items such as public address systems and amusement rides. Activities other than picnicking activities must be approved by the Resource Manager and may require a Special Event Permit. Pets are required to be on a leash at all times. Vehicles are not permitted off roadways. There is no overnight camping allowed. Jefferson Springs does NOT give rain checks nor do they give refunds for inclement weather.
