Description

This campground is located in the Mt Hood National Forest on Timothy Lake at approximately 3400 feet of elevation. If no sites are available, try MOUNTAINS, WILDERNESS, OPEN SPACE other Timothy Lake Campgrounds: Oak Fork, Gone Creek, Pine Point. If they are full, try Clackamas Lake Campground, located 3 miles away.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. To reserve a site FIRES IN FIRE CIRCLES ONLY over the phone, call Reserve America at 1-877-444-6777. To reserve a site NO DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS OR FIREWORKS on the internet go to www.reserveusa.com. This campground has first- 2ND VEHICLE FEE COLLECTED AT CAMPGROUND MAXIMUM 2 VEHICLES PER SITE come, first-serve sites.

  • No all-terrain vehicles or off-highway vehicles in the campground.
  • Quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
  • Vehicles must be parked on the spur.
  • Campground must be occupied the first night.
  • Fires in fire circles only.
  • No discharge of firearms and fireworks in campground.
  • Pets must be on a leash.
  • Camping fee pays for 1 vehicle per site.
  • There is a 10 mph speed limit on the lake.

There is an extra vehicle fee of 50% of the site fee for additional vehicles. Extra vehicle fee is charged for any vehicle (motorhome, trailer or passenger vehicle that is not towed with the first vehicle. Reserverations are taken from 05/27/2005 through 09/06/2005 and 05/26/2006 through 09/05/2006. Sites may be available on a first come - first served basis outside the reservation season.

From Sandy, Oregon, travel East on Highway 26 for approximately 40 miles to Skyline Road. Take a right turn on Skyline Road and travel South for 9 miles. Right turn on FS Road 57 for 2 miles. Right turn at the Hoodview Campground entrance sign.
