Description

Located in north central Texas, High View Park is on the western shore of Bardwell Lake. The park is on a long peninsula just south of State Highway 34. High View Park offers 21 campsites with water and 50 amp electric service, 18 campsites with water and 30 amp electric service, 10 picnic sites, 1 group picnic pavilion, 1 designated swimming area, a full service marina, public restrooms, and a four-lane boat ramp.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The gatehouse is open 6am-10pm and attendants are available for emergencies 24 hours a day. The gates close at 10pm, but a night exit is available. Ground fires are permitted in government-provided fire rings only.

From Ennis, TX: On I 45, exit onto US 287 Bypass (Exit #247). Travel 4.5 miles and exit at Bardwell Lake exit sign. Turn left onto Hwy 34 and go 2.5 miles southwest. Turn left immediately past the Fina Station onto High View Park Rd. Travel 0.2 mile to the High View Park entrance complex.
