As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. The Heber Springs Campground offers 142 sites (106 with electricity amenities include hot showers, a dump station, a playground, a public and 36 non electric). Alerts and Important Information

Site closures for 2009 camping season Due to the extremely high lake levels during the summer of 2008, the "D" camping loop will be closed for repairs through September 2009 to ensure public safety. "D" camping loop will be closed to reservations and walk-in camping while repairs are in progress. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Your Safety, Our Concern

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
Shelters are available for reservation for $30-$50/day.
Attendants are on duty and check in time is 5pm and checkout time is 4pm.
One (1) wheeled camping unit and two (2) tents OR four (4) tents.
Campsites are limited to a maximum of eight (8) persons per site.
Check-in time is 5 pm and checkout time is 4 pm.
