HAWTHORN BLUFF (OK), OK

Description

Hawthorn Bluff Campground is located on Oologah Lake. The lake provides a great getaway for fishing, boating, picnicking, camping or just driftin' and dreaming over the sky blue waters. Plenty of wide stretches of water, perfect for catching the wind, make it one of the most popular lakes in the area for sailing. The forested hills around the lake provide excellent hunting opportunities. Eleven public use area scattered around the lake offer a variety of facilities making it easy to find something that's just right for you. The campground offers 93 campsites with various amenities, two group shelters for group picnics and Gazebo/amphitheater that is ideal for ceremonies and weddings.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The camground is open 1 Apr-31 Oct and sites are $16-$20/night. Reservations are taken for Apr 1 thru Sep 30. Check in time is 6pm and check out time is 4pm. The picnic shelters and the Gazebo/ Amphitheator are available from 6am-10pm and are $50/day. The shelters will accomodate 100 people and 50 vehicles.
