LAKE HARRIET, OR

Description

Lake Harriet campground is located on a wonderful 22 acre reservoir on the Oak Grove fork of the Clackamas River. Lake Harriet is situated in a heavily forested canyon in the Mount Hood National Forest. Lake Harriet is a great place to fish, boat, canoe, or to just relax.

The campground has 11 standard non-electric sites, accessible vault toilets, and on-site staff. If this campground is full, try Timothy Lake Campgrounds: Oak Fork, Hood View, Pine Point, Gone Creek or Clackamas Lake.

Lake Harriet campground is operated by Portland General Electric (PGE) under a partnership with the National Forest Service.

Alerts and Important Information

  • This campground has a two night minimum reservation.
  • Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
  • Some sites are non reservable and are available first come, first served.
  • Campsites must be occupied on first night or may be considered a no show.
  • Check in time is 2pm, check out is 1pm.
  • No more than 6 people are allowed in any standard site.
  • Quiet time is 10pm to 6AM.
  • Pets must remain on leash.
  • All vehicles must be parked within designated parking areas.
  • A $5.00 fee will be collected on site for an extra vehicle.
  • A Maximum of 2 vehicles per site.
  • ATV's and other off road vehicles are not allowed in the campground.

    Take Highway 224 from Estacada, OR. Just past the Ripplebrook Campground, turn left on U.S. Forest Service Road 57, then take another left on U.S. Forest Service Road 4630. Watch for signs to Lake Harriet
