HANNA FLAT (CA), CADescriptionHanna Flat Campground is located in the San Bernardino mountains, three miles from Big Bear Lake and situated in a pine forest. Popular activities in the area are hiking, mountain biking, boating and fishing. Alerts and Important InformationDuring October, 2007, much of the forested area surrounding Hanna Flat Campground burned in the Butler Fire. Please be advised that repair work may continue through this summer. Also, since much of the area surrounding Hanna Flat was burned over, people will need to avoid hiking on the hill sides above the campground. Also, many of the forest system roads and trails in the general area of Hanna Flat are closed to public use, and may remain so for this summer. Getting There:Hanna Flat (CA)SAN BERNARDINO CA GPS Info. (Latitude, Longitude): 34.28778, -116.97444 Take I-10 east (State Hwy 330) to Running Springs, CA. Take State Hwy 18 to Big Bear Lake Dam. Go straight, do not cross Dam. Highway 18 becomes Highway 38. Go to Fawnskin Fire Station and turn left onto Rim of the World Drive (3N14) for 2.5 miles to campsite.
