As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. The park features 47 campsites (41 w/30 amp electric & water connections and 6 sites w/50 amp electric & water connections). Additional amenities include a group shelter with 5 campsites for group camping, playground, a Boat launch, hot showers, and a dump station.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.

  • This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends, and a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends.
  • This campground has first come, first served sites.

A maximum of 2 vehicles plus a sleeping structure (RV, motorhome, pop-up camper, etc.) are authorized at a campsite under the camping fee. A fee of $3/day for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.
Camping Structures are limited to 2 tents or 1 tent plus one Recreation Vehicle per site. The campground is open year round and sites are $16-$18/night.
Quiet hours are 10PM to 6AM.
Fires must be confined in the fire rings.

Pets must be on a leash 6 feet or less in length.

From Zavalla, TX, take State Hwy 147 northeast for 1/4 mile, then turn north on FM 2109, go 8 miles to FM 2801. Turn right(east)on FM 2801, 2 miles to the park entrance. Follow signs into the campground.
