Description

Located 14 miles outside the town of Chester, CA, on Hwy 36/Hwy 89 (1 1/2 miles west of Hwy 32 turnoff). Mixed coniferous forest. Vault toilets, limited parking. Hiking, stream fishing. For campsite information please call (530)258-2141. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. If available, you may reserve both "Rainbow" and "Trout" group sites together (sites 31-51) to form one large group site capable of accomodating 21 camping units. Golden Age/Access discounts do not apply to group sites. The "Trout" group site is suitable for up to 7 camping units. The "Rainbow" group site is suitable for up to 14 camping units.

This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.* *Reservations are taken from Memorial Day through Labor Day; sites may be available on a first come - first served basis outside the reservation season.*
