Description

Located forty-five miles from San Bernardino, California, at an elevation of 7,224 feet. Restrooms are provided, but no water and no trash pick- up. There are five horse corrals. The nearest showers are at Serrano Markets and restaurants are located in Big Bear. Popular activities include fishing, boating and swimming at Big Bear Lake. Opportunities for hiking and biking are also nearby. Water available for horses, however water is not potable for human consumption. Adventure Pass required for parking anywhere outside of campground within National Forest. Designated parking area capacity 8 vehicles. Campground capacity 25 persons. Coral capacity 10 horses. Fire restrictions vary throughout the year. Campers MUST call either the Big Bear Discovery Center at 909-866-3437 or Arrowhead Ranger Station at 909-382-2782 for the latest fire-related information.
