Description

Greendale is located in the Flaming Gorge Recreation Area. The climate is high forest- desert. The landscape is mainly ponderosa pine. The temperatures vary from warm days to cool nights. The Flaming Gorge Lodge with its restaurant and convenience store are located about a mile away.

Alerts and Important Information

No more than 2 vehicles will be allowed on a single site. No exceptions. 2 vehicles = 1 sleeping unit + 1 passenger vehicle per single site.
All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles must park in developed areas only.
A recreation fee is required for all usage outside the campground at Flaming Gorge National Recreation ARea. The per vehicle fees are $5 per day, $15 for 7 days, and $35 per season. Passes available from CG hosts, local businesses, the FS.
This campground has first-come, first-served sites.

Take highway 191 north 45 miles from Vernal, UT. From Manila, UT take highway 44 for 28 miles. Turn left on highway 191 and travel approximately two miles north. Approximately 75 miles south on highway 191 from Rock Springs, WY.
