Description
Fishermen's Bend Recreation Site is located 29 miles East of Salem on Highway 22 and about 1.5 miles West of Mill City. The park covers 170 acres along the North Santiam River. It has multiple recreational opportunities including: 12 reservable campsites, 39 first come-first served campsites, 3 reservable group campsites, 3 reservable group picnic sites and 2 reservable cabins. A boat ramp, family picnic sites, trails, playgrounds and other related amenities round out this unique facility. Numerous other outdoor recreational opportunities are within a 30 mile radius. All sites have electric and sewer hookups, some with water. Non-reservable family campsites cost less per night than reservable campsitess. Alerts and Important Information
2 day minimum reservation window. 2 night minimum on weekends.
Please bring golden passports to the park. Passport holder must occupy site. Pets must be on a leash. Use of fireworks or firearms prohibited. Fires in designated fire pits or BBQ's only. Entrance gate is locked from 10 pm to 7 am, call 503-897-2406 if arriving
after 6pm for overnight reservations. All motorized vehicles must be street legal including scooters. A $5.00 per vehicle fee will be charge per night over the two vehicles for family sites and cabins.
Any extra vehicles may be required to park at designated overflow areas. No wood gathering allowed. Bicycles limited to paved roads or designated trails. Overnight stays on day-use facilities and stays longer than 5 nights on group sites or cabins may be allowed. Please contact Park Manager at 503-897-2406 for approval.
Shelter GO6 is not for overnight use. This is a day use shelter only
