As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. ELK CREEK LANDING (OK), OKDescriptionIn Oklahoma's Green Country, Elk Creek Campground on Lake Tenkiller is a recreational paradise. Camping, fishing, sightseeing, scuba diving, and picnicking are just a few of the activities enjoyed by visitors. The campground sits near the banks of the Illinois River confluence. There are 41 campsites, toilet facilities, swimming beach and a boat ramp. There is a marina concession at one end of the park. Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationWalk-in season starts on Oct 1, 2008 and ends on Dec 31, 2008. All sites affected during the season will be available as walk-ups only. Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires you to reserve a minimum of 2 days on weekends, and 3 days on holiday weekends (family sites).
