ELK CREEK LANDING (OK), OK

Description

In Oklahoma's Green Country, Elk Creek Campground on Lake Tenkiller is a recreational paradise. Camping, fishing, sightseeing, scuba diving, and picnicking are just a few of the activities enjoyed by visitors. The campground sits near the banks of the Illinois River confluence. There are 41 campsites, toilet facilities, swimming beach and a boat ramp. There is a marina concession at one end of the park.

Alerts and Important Information

Walk-in season starts on Oct 1, 2008 and ends on Dec 31, 2008. All sites affected during the season will be available as walk-ups only.

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.

This campground requires you to reserve a minimum of 2 days on weekends, and 3 days on holiday weekends (family sites).

An attendant is on duty from April through September.
The entrance gate opens at 6am and closes at 10pm.
