The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) has prohibited the possession, storage or transportation of any firewood that originates from outside the state of Wisconsin or that originates from more than 25 miles from the destination point. The exception is firewood gathered on the CNNF. This is to prevent the spread the Emerald Ash Borer and other exotic insect pests. For more information about Emerald Ash Borer call toll free 1-800-462-2803 or you may go on-line at: http://na.fs.fed.us/fhp/eab/ or http://www.emeraldashborer.info

Pets are allowed but must be leashed and not left unattended.
