Description

Dirt Flat Campground is located in the Sierra National Forest on the north side of Merced River. Most of the sites are on the river or have river access. This campground is shaded by Oak and Pine trees.

This facility is operated by California Land Management. Your comments are appreciated; comment forms are available from campground hosts or directly at www.clm-services.com.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance
  • 3night minimum on holiday weekends
  • Fee for extra vehicles collected on site
  • No ATV/OHV'S in campground
  • No refund for bad weather
  • Pets must be leashed at all times
  • Quiet hours 10PM to 6AM
  • No useage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in campground

Campground is off highway 140. Cross bridge at Red Bud Picnic Area and turn left on Incline Road. Travel 1.5 miles to campground, passing through Dry Gulch Campground on your way to this campground.
