Lake Drawdown: A lake drawdown is scheduled for Nimrod Lake starting mid-May and continuing through the end of October. The lake level will be drawn down to elevation 337 which is 8 feet below the normal elevation for that time of year. All swim beaches and launch ramps will be unusable. The lake level will be too low for water sports such as skiing.

Description

County Line Campground is located at Nimrod Lake. Cradled between the Ouachita and Ozark Mountains in Arkansas, Nimrod Lake harbors crappie, largemouth bass, bream, catfish and white bass. Nimrod Lake is located adjacent to a National Scenic Byway, State Highway 7. County Line Park provides 20 campsites with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include hot showers, boat launch ramp, dump station, a fish cleaning station, playground, public telephone and swimming area. Park is open March 1 - October 31, but reservations are only accepted fro arrival dates from March 15 - October 25.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. The campground is open March 1 - October 31 but reservations are only accepted from March 15 - October 25. Attendants are on duty from 8 am-8 pm. Check in time is 3 pm and check out is 1 pm. No ATV's, ORV's, firearms, or livestock allowed. All pets must be caged or secured on a leash no more than 6 feet in length. Single site occupancy is limited to two units (1 wheeled unit and 1 tent or 2 tents.
