FIREWOOD ALERT!: Leave Your Firewood At Home! We need your help to protect our forests! A firewood quarantine has been established for much of the state of Virginia. In general, firewood can harbor insect pests under the bark and in the wood. The transport of infested firewood has been identified as a leading cause in the introduction of harmful forest insects into un-infested forest areas. The best way to prevent a new infestation of these invasive pests is to get your firewood AFTER arrival. Help us keep our parks pest free by leaving your firewood at home!

CONEROSS PARK (SC), SC

Description

Coneross Campground is located on the Seneca River arm of the northern end of Hartwell Lake. The campground offers 106 campsites, 94 of the sites offer 50 amp electrical hookups and water. The following amenities are also available: dump station, play grounds, swim beach.

Alerts and Important Information

*Same day reservations are allowed* Standard Non-electric sites accommodate two tents or and RV and a tent. Three vehicles are permitted at each site. Standard Electric sites accomodate one wheeled unti and tents limited to impact pad capacity.
  • Alcohol is prohibited.
  • Campground gates open at 7:00 am and close at 10:00 pm
  • All pets must be penned, caged, or on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
  • Golf Carts, ATV's, and motorized scooters are prohibited
  • Campers must occupy the site each night it is rented

From Interstate 85 in South Carolina, take Exit #11 on Hwy 24 Townville. 1.5 miles past Townville, take right turn onto Coneross Creek Road. Directional signs will lead to the park entrance.
