CHILCOOT (CA), CADescriptionLocated five miles outside of the town of Chilcoot, California, and four CHILCOOT CA, FRENCHMAN LK, PLUMAS miles from the Frenchman Lake Recreation Area. Campground is located along the Little Last Chance Creek. Facilities provided include accessible MOUNTAIN, LAKE, OPEN SPACE, FOREST, VALLEYS restrooms, campsites, and a trail along the lake. The approximate season *APPROXIMATE SEASON DATES 5/1/97 - 10/31/97* of use is from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Popular activities include FIREWOOD ON SITE, STAFF ON SITE, FLUSH BATHROOMS, SITES ARE PAVED swimming and fishing. TROUT FISHING, BOATING, HIKING, PASSIVE RECREATION PETS MUST BE LEASHED LOCAL INFO CALL (916)993-1413Alerts and Important InformationA pet fee of $2 per pet will be collected upon arrival to the facility. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. An additional fee will be collected on-site for extra vehicles. Day-use parking fee is $3.00; dump station fee is $5.00.
