Campground Details - Chapman Campground And Group (CO), CO - ReserveAmerica

Description

Located on the west slope of the Colorado Rockies, adjacent to Chapman Reservoir. Restrooms are provided. Campground is situated in a mountain valley, at an elevation of 8,600 feet. Restrooms are provided. Pressurized water hydrants throughout the campground. Popular activities include hiking, fishing in the river and wildlife viewing. Group campground has a horseshoe pit and volleyball area. Dump station is available at Mollie B Campground. (See host for RV dump fee payment and combination to RV dump lock). Some first come, first serve sites may be available.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Maximum 2 vehicles per site. Gate (to the group area) must be locked at all times. There are no electricity, water, or sewer site hookups at this campground. No motor boats permitted on the lake. Additional parking is remote. A fee of $5.00 for extra vehicles (over 2) will be collected at the campground. Pets must be leashed. Quiet hours 10pm-6am. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holiday weekends.
