During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. CEDAR CREEK (TN), TN

Description

Cedar Creek Campground is located on Old Hickory Lake just outside of Metropolitan Nashville, TN, and near The Hermitage, which is the historical home of President Andrew Jackson. The campground is also situated near Opryland, USA. An abundance of wildlife can be seen in the area such as migratory songbirds, whitetail deer, squirrels, wild turkey, and snakes. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, and skiing. The campground offers 59 sites with electric and water hook-ups. Additional amenities include hot showers, dump station, laundry facilities, picnic shelter, a playground, boat launch, and public telephones.

Alerts and Important Information

This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. There is one Group Shelter available for day use only. (Minimum stay restrictions do not apply) The campground is open April 2-October 30, 2008 and sites are $19-23/night. Shelter reservations pay an extra $4.00 per vehicle at the honor box.
