CAPPS CROSSING (CA), CADescriptionCapps Crossing is located on the North Fork of the Consumnes River at an altitude of 5100ft. A stream runs through the site allowing for some water activities like swimming and fishing. In addition, hiking trails are also nearby and areas for rock climbing. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance from mid-May to mid-September. Your reservations must be made at least four days in prior to your arrival. Services & Amenities:

Road and Alternate Route 50) 7 miles southeast on North-South Road (Forest Road #6) to campground.
