Winter Camping Information:: C area will be open for winter camping from October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Fees in the month of October will be $16.00/night with water and electric hookups available. Fees November through March 2010 will be $12.00/night with individual electric and one frost free hydrant to fill fresh water tanks. Please use honor vault, located in C area, for all camping payments. Senior and Access Pass holders will receive a 50% discount on nightly rates. BUNCOMBE CREEK (OK), OK

Description

In Oklahoma's crosstimbers region, the Buncome Creek Campground on Lake Texoma provides a desirable atmosphere for those seeking good fishing, good friendship, and a more out-of-the-way area. Lake Texoma is a large reservoir with an excellent fishery and many access points. Boating, swimming, skiing, hunting, bird watching, and lounging on the sandy beaches are the typical pursuits of most visitors. It features two wildlife refuges, two State Parks, and twenty-three commercial concession areas dedicated to the enjoyment of over 8 million visitors annually. The Buncombe Creek amenities include 1 trailer dump station, shower facilities, two boat ramps, park attendants, courtesy dock, and paved access to compliment its 54 electrical sites.

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
No day use allowed in camping area.
Entrance gates are open 6am-10pm. Campers may exit at any time.
