Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. Bring drinking water, all bedding materials, firewood cutting tools and light devices. Limited cooking and dining utensils are available. No trash service please Pack it in, Pack it out. Check in time is 2:00 check out time is 12:00. Combination for gate and cabin will be in your confirmation letter. The bunkhouse and barn are off-limits to the public. The cabin sleeps two, but there is room for tents outside.

From Salida go north on Hwy 285 to Johnson Village. Go east on Hwy 24/285 approximately 7.5 miles, turn onto County Rd 307. Go 1.5 miles turn south onto County Road 187. Go 7 miles to Forest Rd 186 (right fork). Then 1 mile to Forest Developement Road 186A, turn left, go 100 yards to the gate.
