BARKER RECREATION AREA (UT), UTDescriptionBarker Recreation Area is located in an aspen-spruce forest above 9,000 feet in elevation. The area offers a campground with 13 individual campsites, a day use area adjacent to Upper Barker Reservoir and the group sites: Old Lady Young (capacity 100), Porter Equestrian (capacity 35), and Gates (capacity 35). Two small fishing lakes permit non-motorized boat access. Seven other back country fishing lakes can be accessed by the many hiking trails in the area, among them the Great Western Trail. Water hookups are not available at any of the sites in the area. Drinking water spigots are available within 100 feet of every campsite.Services & Amenities:
