2 night minimum on weekends.
Group site camping is tent only and walk-in only.
No refunds are given for bad weather.
The Pere Marquette River is a National Wild and Scenic River and special
regulations apply. During the period from May 15 to September 10 a special
watercraft permit is required for all watercrafts being used from the Forks
Landing to Indian Bridge Landing. All recreational type watercraft used in
this time period must not enter the river before 9am and must exit by 6pm.
People fishing legitimately during off hours are exempt. Permits can be
obtained by calling (616)745-4631. Fishing is limited to fly fishing only
for the section of the river from M-37 Bridge to Gleason's Landing. No
live bait or other fishing methods other than fly fishing are permitted in
this section. A per day extra vehicle fee will be charged after 3rd
vehicle at single sites.
The group sites are tent camping only.
This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
Please do not bring firewood from home to the Huron-Manistee National
Forest, National Parks, or State Forests. Do not unwittingly help spread
the Emerald Ash Borer, an exotic beetle from Asia. Firewood is available
at or near camping facilities. For more information about the emerald ash
