FIREWOOD ALERT!: Leave Your Firewood At Home! We need your help to protect our forests! A firewood quarantine has been established for much of the state of Virginia. In general, firewood can harbor insect pests under the bark and in the wood. The transport of infested firewood has been identified as a leading cause in the introduction of harmful forest insects into un-infested forest areas. The best way to prevent a new infestation of these invasive pests is to get your firewood AFTER arrival. Help us keep our parks pest free by leaving your firewood at home!

Description

Bluff Creek Campground is located on Walter F. George Lake on the GA/AL border. Enjoy the natural beauty of the lake and the Chattahoochee River. Whether you want to get away for a week, a weekend or just an afternoon, the lake offers the right atmosphere and facilities for all of your favorite camping, outdoor and water related activities. The Bluff Creek Campground has 88 sites with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, fish cleaning station, laundry facilities, hot showers, a boat ramp outside the campground, a group shelter, and a pay phone.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. The campground is open March - December. No ORV's allowed. No livestock. Dogs and cats must be on a 6' leash. No golf carts allowed. No skinning deer or other wild game in campground.
