As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. BAILEYS POINT (KY), KYDescriptionBaileys Point campground is the largest of the Corps of Engineers campgrounds on Barren River Lake. This campground offers several waterfront campsites with scenic views of the main area of the lake. Visitors have easy access to great fishing, skiing, sailing, and other water based recreation. There are a total of 215 sites, many with electric and water, and there are 5 modern shower houses located throughout the area. The clean lake and wooded hillsides help make for a memorable camping trip to south central Kentucky. Services & Amenities:
