APPLEGATE COVE (OK), OK

Description

Applegate Cove Campground on Robert S. Kerr Lock and Dam and Reservoir offers 27 campsites with electric and water hookups. Other amenities include a trailer dump station, flush toilet with showers, a boat launching ramp, pay phone, group picnic shelter, and a swimming beach. Kerr Reservoir is a 42,000 surface acre lake located on the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System that offers extensive opportunities for outdoor recreation. These activities include, but not limited to, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, and swimming.

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The campground is open year round and the camping fee is $15/night. There is a boat-launching fee of $2/day that is included in the camping fee. An attendant is on duty from April 1 through September 30. Entrance gate opens at 6:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m. No Saturday reservation arrivals allowed on regular weekends. No Saturday or Sunday reservation arrivals allowed on Holiday weekends.
