Description

This campground is located on Sagehen Reservoir adjacent to Sagehen Creek, Eastside and Hollywood Point Campgrounds. Smith's Ferry, Idaho is 18 miles east, Emmett, Idaho is 45 miles south, and Ola, Idaho is 18 miles south.

Campground elevation is about 4800 feet above sea level. The area is wooded mountain terrain with streams and a reservoir popular for trout fishing. Other popular activities in this area include mushroom picking, berry gathering, and hunting. Summer temperatures are from 80 degrees to 90 degrees with cool nights.

The campground has hand-pumped well water and vault toilets. The campground was reconstructed in 2000. Improvements include new vault toilets, longer and wider paved parking spurs, and a new group site accommodating up to 30 people.
