WILBORN CREEK (GROUP CAMP) (IL), IL

Description

Approximately 9 miles west of Sullivan. Public beach, boat ramp, playground, and picnic shelter in area. Please do not drive or park vehicles on the grass. Vehicles must be parked in designated parking places. The group camp has 10 picnic tables and 10 grills. This is primarily a tent area. There are no RV pads, but RVs may park in the parking lot. There are no electric hook-ups. There is a beach with showers, a boat ramp, and a playground approximately 1 mile from the group campground. The beach and showers are open from 8am to sunset.

Alerts and Important Information

Due to high water the shower & playground facilities at Wilborn Creek Beach are closed. Group camp patrons will be given a pass to use the shower facilities at the Bo Wood Campground. Bo Wood Campground is approximately 8 miles away.
Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends.
This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays.
The group camp is open from the first Thursday in May until Labor Day. The fee is $120.00 per night.
