Description

Vermillion campground is located on Edison lake in the High Sierra's. This is a remote campground on the lake. There is fishing, hiking, and boating. The scenery is spectacular from this area. Large vehicles are not recommended. One lane mountain road for approximately 18 miles. Our season dates are approximately 06/15 thru 09/15.

This facility is operated by California Land Management. Your comments are appreciated; comment forms are available from campground hosts or directly at www.clm-services.com.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
  • This campground has no water - please bring your own.
  • No ATVS/OHVS in campground
  • 3 night minimum on holiday weekends.
  • Pets must be leashed at all times.
  • No useage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in campground
  • The camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally Towed vehicle. $5/nightly fee will be collected at campground.
  • Vehicles over 26 feet not recommended.
  • All equipment must fit on the site pad.
  • Vehicles park in developed areas only.
  • No showers or RV hookups.

    From Clovis, California, take Highway 168 north 70 miles to the Huntington Lake Campground office. Take Kaiser Pass Road to the Vermillion Campground.
