TRILLIUM (OR), ORDescriptionTrillium Lake Campground is located 40 miles southeast of Portland, on the Mount Hood National Forest at 3600 feet of elevation. It is known for its surrounding scenery and recreational opportunities. Boating, fishing and swimming are popular activities at this lakeshore campground. The campground has some accessible sites. A 2-mile long barrier free trail circles the lake. Other trails are easy to reach from Trillium Lake Campground. Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark on Mt Hood, is located within 10 miles of the campground. The campground has piped water and vault toilets. Sites listed as non-reservable are first-come, first-serve sites.If Trillium Lake is full, Still Creek Campground is a nearby choice. It is approximately 2 miles away, approximately 1 mile away on Hwy 26, approximately 1 mile east of Government Camp. Alerts and Important InformationThe $65.00 fee includes 4 reserved parking sites in proximity to the shelter in the day use area. Cost: $80.00, Includes Amphitheater and one night in sites 12-A and 12- B. Two vehicles may be parked in each of the reserved campsites, included in the day use fee. Exclusive use cannot be guaranteed for the renters. Camping fee pays for 1 vehicle per single site and 2 vehicles per double site. An extra vehicle fee of 50% of the cost of a single site will be collected at the campground for extra vehicles (2nd vehicles in single sites, 3rd and 4th vehicles in double sites).
