Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
  • There is a 3 night minimum stay over holidays.
  • Animals must be on a leash at all times.
  • Trailers and RV's are limited to 30 feet due to the available width turnaround.
  • Additional camping units are $8 a night, payable at campground.
  • ATV's allowed on designated roads and trails, speed limit applies in campground.
  • Bring extra garbage bags, pack it in pack it out facility.

Timber Creek is in the Duck Creek Basin, nestled along the slopes of the Schell Creek Range. Drive 5 miles north past the town of McGill on US 93. Turn on State Route 486 and continue 8 miles on this paved road. Turn left on FS road 425 at the Timber Creek sign. Drive down this dirt road another 3 miles to the campground.
